We are looking for a Backend Engineer with strong experience in advanced data engineering, including high-performance data processing, building scalable services, AI/ML pipelines, and deployment in high-availability production environments. The role requires hands-on experience with TypeScript and Python, and the work will have a direct impact on the security of real-world systems at enterprise scale.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop scalable, high-availability backend services using Node.js and TypeScript, with a strong emphasis on reliability and production readiness
- Participate in technical discussions and support delivery lifecycle
- Work with PostgreSQL and event streaming/messaging systems, handling both structured and unstructured data
- Maintain CI/CD pipelines and actively contribute to agile processes
- Optimize and maintain data models (PostgreSQL, MySQL)
- Participate in code reviews and mentor junior developers
Requirements
- At least 3 years of hands-on experience in backend and infrastructure development
- Strong experience building production-grade services with Node.js and TypeScript and Python, including RESTful APIs and microservices
- Solid background in asynchronous programming, event-driven architectures, performance optimization, and Node.js frameworks
- Deep understanding of backend architecture and system design for scalable, distributed systems with reliable service-to-service communication
- Proven experience in cloud-based infrastructure (AWS, GCP, Azure), designing and deploying cloud-native services and working with managed infrastructure and platform components
- Experience with data-intensive systems, including strong SQL and relational database skills, as well as familiarity with Big Data or high-volume data processing environments
- Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines, Docker, Kubernetes
- Highly independent and proactive, with strong problem-solving, analytical, and rapid learning capabilities
- A collaborative team player with a strong sense of ownership and accountability for the end-to-end delivery of complex projects
