I was heartbroken to learn that Judge Sterling Johnson, Jr. passed away this evening. He was a lion of Brooklyn. A dedicated public servant, few have left as indelible a mark on the legal landscape of New York as Judge Johnson. I will miss his friendship and wisdom deeply.

If yesterday was one of the highest highs, today is one of my lowest lows. One of the best people to grace this earth with his presence has left us and I’m completely devastated. I loved him so much. He lit up every room and changed so many lives. He will forever be missed.

Marathon #5! I’m officially a member of the #ChicagoMarathon class of 2022 and have my second Abbott World Marathon Majors star 🎉. This may be my favorite course so far. Next stop: Tokyo 2023 (but first, ice, food & sleep).
