It isn't just that many meetings could've been an email - meetings are regularly used as vague brainstorms to make everybody feel like they're involved. They make us feel nice while not contributing. It's time to cut them down significantly.pic.twitter.com/0tk4DQfNvZ

Meetings are middle management mulch - a way to fill in the days of people that contribute nothing to an organization other than talking about other people's work. Meetings are necessary, but that doesn't mean they're required. It's good to catch up with people, but it should be quick, have a clear goal, and then end the moment that you've accomplished it.
