    Today, Bumble celebrates the signing of SB 493 in Virginia. This bill makes sending sexually explicit photos without permission a civil infraction with penalties of up to $500 and legal fees.

    Sexual assault and harassment are never acceptable - whether it happens online or offline. We’re grateful for leadership in WI on these issues and hope more lawmakers will introduce similar legislation.

    Today, I was proud to introduce two bills with . The first would create a civil course of action for “stealth” sexual assault, and the second provides a penalty for individuals sending unsolicited lewd images digitally.

    Thank you for working to help stop “stealthing.” , supports making it clear that nonconsensual condom removal is immoral and illegal.

    The term might be new to many, but unfortunately many have fallen victim to it. CA can be the 1st state in the nation to make it illegal w/ ’s signature ✍️. My bill is at his desk right now pending action.
