TLUX Technologies, the global training and consulting partner of Flexera / Revenera, and LOGON Software, jointly offers a 1-day ‘InstallShield QuickStart Certified Workshop which provides you with a solid overview of installation terminology, the tasks an installation program needs to perform, and an overview of the InstallShield development environment.
You will learn the basics of how to create a well-formed installation structure and perform the most common tasks, coupled with extending the installer by updating the Registry, Windows Services, Virtual Directories and .NET.
A high-level understanding of the MSI installation Sequences and an introduction to the Custom Action Wizards most commonly-used options ensure that you are set in the right direction to either attend further courses, learn in your own time by test projects or start to get your teeth stuck you’re your own installation projects.
This course focuses on how to create Basic MSI projects, which use the Windows Installer service (MSI) for the installation’s behaviour and appearance.
This course does not cover InstallScript MSI projects, this can be arranged by contacting us at [email protected]
