These dumb fucking threads have made twitter unreadable.
Any good ways to thin them from my feed? specific phrases to mute? Do i need to unfollow a bunch of people?

No snark. Beeler is on to something with this thing. Best combo of content and people I’ve seen at an event. Excited to see this grow.
I don’t know how you extroverts do it tho. One day of socializing and I’m ready to Walden myself.

May we all have the confidence of my sales team who, frequently, informs me that their exception has been approved.
For things only I can approve.

There’s just so much brainless shit floating around. But who wants to have to explain to their boss why they called that CEO a dumb fuck?
Right now there is the dumbest response to that John Oliver segment. One of those “you could just say nothing” moments.
Wish I stayed anon.

If someday soon a very poorly branded adtech meme handle shows up and starts absolutely roasting people.
Just pretend it’s someone else.

Best news of my day is that has an amazing newsletter out (jealous of how he writes his vs my style). He riffs off 's Alex Mason's post on Linkedin which is also a must read. It's time for these voices to be amplified! #Preach!

While we’re at it. This whole “we’re going to triangulate you and all the devices you’re nearest to and mix all of their attributes with yours to determine what all of you get to see” has got to go too.
Limit demo. Require data consent.

It’s not that people don’t like personalized ads. They hate the lack of control and consent in the current system.
If given control wanna know what info most users delete? their demographic data.
Behavioral and psychographic are way less creepy when you lose demo attributes.

I’m sorry I don’t believe this personalized vs non-personalized ad debate.
Demo data is what makes targeting shady. Rid the system of it and the world becomes less creepy.
People shit on contextual but I’d bet there’s a Pareto, 80% effectiveness at 20% creep factor for it.

Did I miss the memo where every site added an adblock recovery vendor last month?
Instead of reassuring me that you care about the ux it’s serving as a red flag.
If a site allows a vendor branded pop up it means they don’t care about my user experience.
